The Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II has some of the best Noise cancelling features in the industry and is consider one of the most comfortable headphones. With excellent preset frequency response, a travel-friendly design, and a solid microphone system, there’s a lot to love about this headset.

Bose has been at the pinnacle of active noise cancellation for years, partly down to its line of QuietComfort headphones. Now the company has the new Noise Canceling 700 headphones (terrible name, I know), but before that, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II compress before noise-cancelling boxes came out. So we’ve held our hands on the Bose QuietComfort 35 II for weeks since its 2017 launch to grasp all the title has to offer.

How is The Build Quality of The Bose Quiet Comfort 35 II?

It is a bright-looking pair of headphones. The headphones retain the slim profile of the original, as well as the level of comfort. The Bose QuietComfort 35 II is consider one of the most comfortable headphones on the market, and for a good reason. You can wear it for hours without feeling like you have to take it off to let your ears breathe. It is also durable and can bent and folded in many ways without breaking.

But you should probably use the included carrying case. In addition to the action and multi-function buttons, you’ll have the volume up and down buttons and a power switch on the right earcup. You’ll also find that one earbud charges via micro USB on the bottom, and the other even has a 3.5mm jack, so if your phone still has a headphone jack, you can plug them into it.

Should I get the Bose Connect app?

If you want to take advantage of everything your Bose QC 35 II offers, you will want to download the Bose Connect app (iOS/Android). When you launch the app, it will first try to find the headset and then ask you to scroll down to finish pairing. That’s great, especially since a bit of sound that guides the process to your ear helps. Then, after choosing your language and a nickname, you take to the action button settings, which lets you choose between Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and an active noise-cancelling switch.

If you choose Google Assistant, you can set your notifications to read aloud to your ear, and there’s even a dedicated Google Help page for the product. You can ask your Google Assistant questions from your headset, just as if you had the assistant activated on your phone, but it’s much faster. You’ll hear a quick tone as soon as you press the button, and then you can ask your question or give a command. Usually, with the headset, you’d take to wait for a second or two for it to register and access Google on your phone, but with the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, it starts listening as soon as you press the button, so you’re not left out. Wondering. Whether it works or not.

How Did you Connect The Bose QC 35 II?

Fortunately, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II supports both SBC and AAC so that iOS users will benefit from it and at least won’t be left behind regarding latency. Android users can also use AAC, but AAC is not always consistent on Android, depending on the hardware. As a result, most Android phone owners may want to force SBC broadcast through the phone’s “Developer Settings”.
